PRESCHOOL PROGRAMS
If you’re looking for an activity for your child that combines creativity and exercise, dance is the perfect solution! Not only are dance classes fun, they are also a great way to allow your little ones to exercise and gain exposure to the arts.
Dance With Me
(ages 2 - 2½)
This introductory dance class breaks down the elements of dance and incorporates movement, songs, and games, which are all age appropriate for preschoolers. With the assistance of a family member, children will learn through use of music, imagination, and simple dance steps. This program allows children to learn new skills and most of all have fun while becoming familiar with the studio environment!
Dress Code includes pink ballet shoes, pink tights, and black or pink leotard for children and white sole tennis shoes and fitness attire for companions.
Twinkle Star Creative Movement 1
(ages 2½ – 3)
This class is an introduction to the world of dance. Basic tap, ballet, and tumbling are included in this one hour class. Stretching and movement encourage body and space awareness. Children are involved in group participation activities that enhance and develop rhythm and coordination skills. This class is for 2½-year-olds and 3-year-olds who are new to dance. *Dancers must be potty trained.
Dress Code includes pink flutter dress, pink tights, black tap shoes, and pink ballet shoes.
Twinkle Star Creative Movement 2
(ages 3 – 4)
This class is an introduction to the world of dance. Basic tap, ballet, and tumbling are included in this one hour class. Stretching and movement encourage body and space awareness. Children are involved in group participation activities that enhance and develop rhythm and coordination skills. This class is for 3-year-olds who have taken dance previously and for 4-year-olds. *Dancers must be potty trained.
Dress Code includes purple flutter dress, pink tights, black tap shoes, and pink ballet shoes.
